چکیده
This research aimed to determine the potential of unconfined aquifer in Gorontalo City based on landform approach. The landforms consist alluvial plains lake deposits, floodplains river fans hills structural fractures reef limestones, pinogu volcanic rocks, and intrusive bone diorite. method used consisted a meteorological approach southern dynamic City. calculation groundwater availability using is 421.561,67 m3/year limestone hill, 1.198.975,33 373.062,86 diorite with total approach, 1.993.599,87 m3/year. Groundwater was 2.621.535,19 or discharge 49,26 lt/sec (large) plain sediment, 17,19 floodplain 16,65 fan sediment. value greater than because amount evapotranspiration, surface runoff, crop coefficient.

A new package in MODFLOW to simulate unconfined groundwater flow in sloping aquifers.
The nonhorizontal-model-layer (NHML) grid system is more accurate than the horizontal-model-layer grid system to describe groundwater flow in an unconfined sloping aquifer on the basis of MODFLOW-2000. However, the finite-difference scheme of NHML was based on the Dupuit-Forchheimer assumption that the streamlines were horizontal, which was acceptable for slope less than 0.10. In this study, we...

متن کاملWatertable waves in unconfined aquifers: sloping boundary effects
Watertable waves generated by forcing from oceanic oscillations play an important role in the availability and quality of coastal groundwater resources. Here we present results from laboratory experiments which examine the influence of a boundary slope on the mass transfer from an oscillating clear water reservoir into a homogeneous, unconfined aquifer. The experimental forcing period is suffic...
